Kylie Carlson is the founder & CEO of the International Wedding Academy & Wedding CEO Club for Pros. She is also a Marketing guru and a massive ‘Sound of music’ lover. For those who know her, you know I’m right.
I have been so lucky to meet her in person when she came to Australia (she now lives in France) and did a few interviews with the Academy students in 2017 (yes, I was one of them).
Today she is my wedding coach as I am part of her Wedding CEO Club, a place where we learn, grow and support each other, being part of a community with pros from all over the world. Kylie is a great mentor & friend but she is also very fun to talk to and we always find a reason to laugh when we have our coaching calls.
P.S. For those of you wanting to dive in the wedding industry, here is the link to her Academy. It’s so worth it!
I hope you all enjoy this interview and thank you Kylie for accepting to be my November guest.
1. Tell me something about you that only your family knows
My brother and I used to play a game when we were younger called Smith and Sir, naturally I was always Sir and he was always Smith. We still laugh about it now and often still use those names in cards to each other.

Drinking a gallon of wine!

Bette Middler – she’s larger than life and takes over the screen and that’s how I’d like to be remembered.

Rearrange all my cupboards. My best friend Michelle came over to visit me from Australia and decided she didn’t like the way I had set out my cupboards so she changed them all whilst I was asleep in bed.
9. What is something that everyone looks stupid doing?
Maypole dancing – it’s an English thing.

Sex toys with all the trimmings
12. If you could ask your pet 3 questions, what would they be?

I know what you did.
December is all about Christmas, family and…..gifts. So keep an eye here to see what my gift to you will be. Maybe I have Santa answering my questions. Who knows?
Until then, be well & happy!
